Software Engineer
Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company supporting multiple technology development efforts, is searching for a talented Software Engineer that will support the Air Force by performing software activities focused on an infrastructure modernization effort designed to achieve a modern and open architecture for remote sensing ground capabilities. Successful candidates will work with our customers to define requirements, design and prototype solutions, and implement capabilities. They will work on a collaborative Agile development team and will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Work location will be primarily at the Radiance Beavercreek office. Flexibility and the ability to work on a wide range of development platforms and software is a must. Required Skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance Required Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant software development experience. Experience with C++17, C++11, or Python 3 Experience configuring, deploying, orchestrating, and testing containerized applications to a cloud platform Experience configuring, deploying, and testing Kafka messaging for high-bandwidth data transport Experience with agile development practices (ie. Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban) Experience with Git or other similar version control software Desired Qualifications Experience with JIRA and Confluence DevSecOps experience Open Shift experience Experience using Jenkins as a build platform Understand and can use Systems Modeling Language (SysML) which describe software designs.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
