This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends! The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, reliable, compassionate, and pay close attention to detail.
This individual will be ready to take on the role of a CSR or a VA depending on the day.
A minimum of 2 years in the veteirnary field is required and experience with Avimark is a plus! Benefits to be discussed at interview.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
Customer service duties, including:
greeting clients, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms Scheduling and confirming appointments Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients Presenting and explaining fees Handle all cash transactions including deposits, invoicing, and end of day reporting Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.
e.
, heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control) Differentiate and prioritize between routine cases and emergency cases and alert staff accordingly Understand and use special record notations and make appropriate notes in patient records Be familiar with infectious and common zoonotic diseases; including prevention, and the steps to reduce or eliminate transmission Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times--both inside and outside Maintain inventory and stocking Monitor hospitalized pets patients Animal restraint Aid in routine diagnostic tests Maintain & sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Disinfect kennels, exam, and treatment areas of the clinic Administering medications under Veterinarian supervision Assist with patient care and treatments Ability to multi-task Ability to communicate professionally with clients Completing other projects as assigned Successful candidates will:

Ability to comfortably lift 40 lbs Walking or standing for extended periods or time.
