Description What to expect as Elastic Path's Senior Business Development Manager? Elastic Path is currently seeking a high-achieving Senior Business Development Manager to join our Global Revenue Operations team. As a first touchpoint for buyer engagement, you will play a critical role in qualifying leads, profiling ideal (ICP) prospects, educating buyers on Elastic Path's differentiators, and providing feedback on optimal buyer engagement that drive pipeline development. In this role, you will play a critical role in helping to build our Business Development function from the ground-up. An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a track record of effective, credible lead follow-up and buyer persona development at multiple levels across a prospect organization. Key
Responsibilities:
The Senior Business Development Manager will build sales pipeline while achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Follow up on Tier 1 marketing-generated leads to qualify them for potential sales opportunities. Operate at the center of our strategic account-based marketing strategy by activating, nurturing, and managing ICP prospects engaging across our multi-channel sales and marketing programs. Work closely with revenue operations and marketing teams to maintain and keep the business development playbook and processes updated and optimized. Help keep our ICP prospect database updated, relevant and act as a digitally enabled orchestrator of activity across your assigned territory. Utilize and leverage technology to source, develop and manage prospect intelligence efficiently and effectively. Create and shape content (written, verbal and video) used to engage and educate buyers Elastic Path's differentiators and value propositions. Act as digitally enabled resource for prospects including chat, email, phone, video and social strategies to engage and nurture complex buying teams. Understand and apply Elastic Path security policies, processes, and controls as required, in day-to-day tasks. Location:
This is a remote role based in the United States - candidates are required to be in the United States to be considered. There is a preference for those located in Boston, MA or Eastern time zones. What experience do you need to Be Remarkable in this position? 5-8 + years of combined experience in an equivalent B2B role, inside sales, business development, etc. Experience prospecting in North America and Europe (UK, France, Germany, Nordic countries) Experience working within a technology stack that includes Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, Drift, Marketo, ZoomInfo or equivalent tools. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
